Newborn Methodist Church-Newborn, Georgia

Episcopal Church of the Redeemer-Greensboro, Georgia

Organized in 1863, the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer is the only Episcopal church in Greene County. The church building was designed and constructed in 1868 by J. O. Barnwell. It is an example of Gothic Revival architecture. The first rector was Joshua Knowles. He and his wife are next to the church building.

It was put on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.

Powelton Methodist Church-Powelton, Georgia

It is believed this building was constructed in the 1830s.

Calvary Episcopal Church-Glenn Springs, South Carolina

Spartanburg County

Founded in 1848, the Calvary Episcopal Church is in the former resort town, Glenn Springs, started by John B. Glenn who had a mineral spring on his property. This Carpenter Gothic church was built in 1897. It lists as part of the Glenn Springs Historic District on the National Register of Historic Places.
