Early Settlers Cemetery-Swainsboro, Georgia

Founded in 1881, the Early Settlers Cemetery in Swainsboro, Georgia was initially a burial ground for Baptist and Methodist community members. It is a small cemetery with less than 100 burials.

Front marker is for Juanita Coleman Smith, 1874-1910. The arch marks the location of her parents, John (1844-1923) and Martha (1858-1926) Coleman.

Moxley Cemetery Angel-Swainsboro, Georgia

This angel sits at the edge of the Moxley Cemetery. There’s no name at the base. I am uncertain if this is simply decorative, or it’s supposed to mark someone grave.
