One of the few remaining buildings in the unincorporated community of Howell, Georgia. I credit ID of building to Brian Brown at Vanishing Georgia.

From what I understand, the bottom served as a store, and the top floor was used as a fraternal lodge.

Known as the Crossroads Store, the store was built and opened in 1903. It’s been owned by the Avery family since the 1920s. Located in Jones Crossroad, Georgia, the building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2009.

Opened in 1947, the Mrs. Roy Redd’s store is a well known landmark outside of Cumming, Georgia.

This post has been updated to show that Brian Brown identified it as a tenant farmhouse and Stanley’s Store.

Gold & Grass Farms- That’s the sign you see from the road, but this is the last remaining building from the Creighton/Franklin Gold Mine in Ball Ground, Georgia. Built in 1890, the “Shingle House” served the area as a commissary, post office, and a boarding house.
